PerioKIN Hyaluronic 1% Gel is available in an innovative formulation with dual effects. It helps to treat damaged tissue and reduces pain caused by tooth extractions, implant surgery, subgingival scaling, mouth ulcers, and other deep oral wounds.
It contains 1% hyaluronic acid and 0.20% chlorhexidine. This is an effective combination to treat infected and inflamed oral tissue. Hyaluronic acid promotes tissue repair and reduces inflammation, while chlorhexidine kills harmful bacteria and prevents further infection. In addition, it helps to improve overall oral health and promote faster healing.

Composition:

• Hyaluronic acid: 1%
• Chlorhexidine digluconate: 0,20%

Indications:

• After tooth extractions.
• Dry sockets.
• Damaged, bleeding gums and tissue.
• Around dental implants.
• Oral trauma, such as, ulcers, burns and oral lesions.
• Dental surgery.

How to use:

• Dry the area gently with a gauze and apply the gel three times a day directly with the cannula, massaging the gums. You can also apply the gel with your finger on the application area. Apply for 1-2 weeks, or as recommended by the dentist.
• After use it is recommended:
  - Do not rinse your mouth.
  - Do not brush your teeth.
  - Do not eat or drink for at least half an hour.

Warnings:

• Keep out of the reach of children.
• It is contraindicated in people who have shown hypersensitivity reaction to chlorhexidine.
• In some cases, a slight alteration of taste may occur, which usually disappears quickly.
• After prolonged use and contact with certain foods or beverages, such as wine, coffee or tobacco, discolouration may appear on teeth and fillings. This discolouration is not permanent and can be removed with appropriate dental prophylaxis.
• Do not swallow.
