Periokin gel is ideal for localized use. It contains Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.20%. Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic agent (antimicrobial, bactericidal and bacteriostatic). commonly used in the oral cavity to prevent and treat various oral infections, such as gingivitis, periodontitis, and dental caries.

Indications:

• Reduces gingivitis swelling and bleeding of the gums.
• Stops the bacterial development that causes periodontitis.
• Reduces plaque and bacteria to prevent tooth cavities.
• After oral surgery, aids healing and prevents infection.
• Reduces halitosis (bad breath) by limiting bacterial growth.

How to use:

Apply the gel to the gums 3 times daily, preferably after meals and other oral hygiene, using a gentle brush or cotton swab. After using, it is advised to wait at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking. The best time to use it is at night. Never wash with water after the application.

• Keep out of children's reach.
• Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine should not use it.
